Granada Secondary Glazing has recorded a 136% yearly increase in sales enquiries from July 2019 to July 2021 – as the economic recovery continues to gather pace.

The secondary glazing specialist says this rise equates to a staggering  118% monthly increase in sales enquiries from June 2021 alone.

The company has also welcomed a huge uptick in interest from architects, specifiers and developers with commercial enquiries, in particular, up more than 1,000% from July 2019.

Categorised by homeowner, trade and commercial sectors, the types of sales leads vary widely, ranging from large commercial schemes and building conversions to smaller residential and domestic projects.

These successes have been largely attributed to the launch of the new Granada Secondary Glazing website in June 2021, which offers a much more user-friendly platform for homeowners, trade customers and commercial partners alike.

Lewis Hartley, Marketing Manager at Granada Secondary Glazing explains that the new site eliminated a ‘long-winded’ quote engine that was prominent on its predecessor, which made it difficult and often time-consuming for enquiries to be submitted. He says: “This was particularly true for trade companies and architects that were seeking to learn more about Granada’s offering.”

Instead, the new website now features a simple enquiry form that allows users to submit their details and requirements in just a few clicks.

Beyond the improved functionality of the new website, June also saw Granada invest heavily in a hard-hitting digital marketing strategy. It has embarked on annual email marketing and PPC campaigns that actively target homeowners and construction professionals at every stage of the buying process.

“It’s undeniable that the introduction of these two marketing avenues has contributed significantly to the growth in sales enquiries,” continues Lewis.

Work is on-going to fine-tune their website user experience and maximise lead generation through the digital marketing activities.

Zoe Grafton, Trade Sales Manager at Granada Secondary Glazing, says: “The increase in sales enquiries we’ve experienced has been consistent for a number of months now; it’s only when you step back and analyse the year-on-year figures that the true scale of the improvement becomes apparent.

“Not only has the work we’ve done from a digital perspective increased the volume of leads we’ve received, but it’s also improved the lead quality. We’re targeting customers who are much further along in the buying process and our sales figures are beginning to reflect this. It’s an incredibly exciting time for Granada.”

Lewis adds: “It’s fantastic to already be reaping the rewards of our digital marketing activity, especially when considering that it’s still in its relative infancy. The new website was a major project for Granada and was instrumental in our ability to generate high-quality sales enquires online. Once this piece of the jigsaw was in place, the launch of our email and PPC campaigns quickly followed.

“We’ve got off to an incredibly strong start and I see no reason why this can’t continue throughout the remainder of 2021 and beyond.”
