The Full Range of Secondary Glazing For Professionals

Granada's product range covers six product families. Each is manufactured in-house in aluminium, available in 200+ RAL colours via our own powder coat line, and supplied with a hardwood timber subframe as standard. Whether you are specifying for a sash window in a conservation area or a heavy-duty commercial installation, there is a product built for the application.

Horizontal Sliding Secondary Glazing

Horizontal Sliding Secondary Glazing

The most widely specified product in the range. Available in two, three, four, and five-panel configurations, horizontal sliding secondary glazing suits casement windows, hinged windows, and any opening with vertical bars. Units run on durable aluminium tracks with brass rollers, and sashes are fully removable for cleaning access.

Vertical Sliding Secondary Glazing

Vertical Sliding Secondary Glazing

Designed for traditional sash windows, our Vertical Sliders use a spring-balance mechanism that holds each pane at any chosen position, replicating the action of the original window. The tilt-in variant (TBVS) allows each sash to pivot inward up to 180° for cleaning without removing the unit. The slide-past option (SPBVS) allows both panels to travel fully past each other for unrestricted access.

Hinged Unit Secondary Glazing

Hinged Unit Secondary Glazing

Hinged secondary glazing opens inwards and provides slim 60 to 72mm sightlines with no transoms or mullions. Multi-point espagnolette locking is standard. The heavy-duty variant handles units up to 180kg and supports double-glazed sealed units in 24mm and 28mm configurations, making it the only product in the range capable of carrying sealed units.

Lift Out Secondary Glazing

Lift Out Secondary Glazing

Lift out secondary glazing provides removable panels at the lowest price point across the range, with the slimmest sightlines of any product. Face-fixed or reveal-fixed, it is particularly well suited to decorative or non-opening windows, heritage settings, and arched openings. Maximum dimensions reach 3,220mm wide and 3,307mm tall.

Fixed Secondary Glazing

Fixed Secondary Glazing

Fixed secondary glazing is the most economical product in the range. Permanently fitted with turn-button release for cleaning access, it is suited to arched, shaped, and bespoke applications. Note: fixed units are not suitable for fire escape locations and must not be specified as such under Building Regulations.

Bespoke, Made to Measure Secondary Glazing

For projects that fall outside standard parameters, bespoke secondary glazing covers arched, bay, curved, circular, and angled configurations. Bespoke units are custom-quoted and carry a 10-year guarantee. Commercial projects with non-standard openings, including churches, hotels, and hospitals, regularly use this route.
