We offer the UK a turnkey service (consulting, design, value engineering, and installation) of bespoke secondary glazing to commercial clients.
The Role:
The role of a Commercial Estimator is to work very closely with our Commercial Installation, Sales and on-site Estimating teams. You will be responsible for providing detailed Estimates to our commercial clients. Working closely with our Sales team with proposals, tracking cost, understanding specifications, and calculating the final budget for each project.
Key functions:
- To create estimations following assessment of tender documents and specifications.
- Liasing daily with our clients, via telephone and email to ensure a smooth process throughout, and to obtain any missing information needed.
- Prepare and create Estimations on our bespoke in-house software, and issue to clients.
- Liaise with the Commercial Installations Manager and client to agree suitable terms on order placement.
- Arranging sales handovers when orders are made.
- Negotiation of terms with our accounts team upon order placement
- Continuously follow up of previously submitted estimates.
- Closing of orders, offering guided support to ensure success.
- Sorting technical data sheets and tender documents, and advising customers on relevant benefits
- Monitor and update project schedules consistently.
Experience Required:
- Experience in construction an advantage but not essential.
- Knowledge and/or a qualification in AutoCAD preferred, you must be technical and able to read technical drawings.
- You must have very good attention to detail, ensuring quotations are of a high standard.
- You must have the ability to work under pressure, to meet set goals, and deadlines.
- You must be proficient with Microsoft packages, and able to read drawings.
- The ability to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates.

This role is office based in Dinnington, Sheffield. working hours are 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday.
