Area Sales Managers (Commercial Division) – Scotland & South West

Reporting to: Commercial Sales Manager

The Roles: As an Area Sales Manager, you will work to increase our client base for our commercial division. Our clients include main contractors, local authorities, architects, and specifiers. We specialise in the RMI sector and provide glazing solutions across a wide variety of projects including buildings with listed status.

You will use our brand as a key selling point, utilising our quality product offerings to support new client acquisition. Positioning us as the supplier of choice within the specification and construction sectors, you will work as part of the wider UK sales team and seek to achieve KPIs and targets.

Additionally, you will:

  • Develop and nurture strong client relationships
  • Ensure outstanding customer service and provide technical support
  • Professionally deliver our RIBA approved CPD presentation
  • Create a pipeline of potential new clients
  • Update and maintain our CRM system and track progress and targets
  • Support our operations team to ensure client satisfaction of completed projects
  • Provide customer feedback, project updates and market information relating to our product sector

About You: To be considered as an Area Sales Manager, you will need:

  • Previous sales experience in a similar or related role
  • A demonstrable track record of consistent sales achievements and a thorough understanding of the construction products sector
  • Commercial acumen with a good standard of numeracy and literacy
  • The ability to present confidently and communicate at all levels
  • IT skills including Word, Office, PowerPoint and Excel
  • A full, valid driving licence

Purpose: To continually grow the Granada Secondary Glazing brand by securing and developing new accounts and projects, maximising sales opportunities and follow up all enquiries generated by our estimating team.

Primary objectives:

  1. To identify, target and convert potential customers into new customers.
  2. To take ownership of the defined area and work towards achieving both personal goals and those of the company.
  3. To produce and maintain a high standard of customer administration, account management and internal reports.
  4. To maintain ethical relationships with all customers, internal and external
